This is the LUT I’ve been using on my films since May 2025, across real wedding films, real lighting conditions, and real delivery timelines. It replaces my previous Signature LUT - not because that look was wrong, but because my work has evolved and because the wedding filmmaking landscape has evolved.
The foundation is the same: a filmic, restrained, cinematic base that prioritises skin tones and tonal separation.
What’s changed is the colour language.
This version introduces richer saturation and more vibrant, true-to-life colour, bringing the image closer to what weddings actually felt like on the day — without tipping into anything trendy, or over-processed. There's a little more presence in the colour, without losing softness or depth
It sits comfortably in the current landscape of wedding films, while still feeling timeless - something you can keep using, not something you’ll outgrow in six months.
What's included?
This download includes two LUTs - a daytime version and a nighttime version, which are designed to be applied directly to LOG footage - no Rec709 conversion required.
Intended as a starting point, not a final grade, you should expect reliable results across mixed lighting, skin tones, and venues with white balance and contrast adjustments.
Daytime and Nighttime are designed for Slog3 (S-Gamut3.Cine) shot on Sony cameras, but should work reliably on other LOG footage too with a CST or other conversion.
